Taking Care of Families One Meal at a Time

Family Dinner Night is one of the many activities Earth Fare will host once a week for its local community. It will be every Thursday night from 4:00-8:00 p.m. On this special night, if parents spend $5, then their children get to eat for free. That’s right, free! This is extremely beneficial for Earth Fare’s customers, especially those families who have tight budgets.

As Kathy, a customer from another Earth Fare, mentioned, “what more could a parent ask for?”

No more quick trips through the McDonalds’ drive through on the way home from work. All you have to do is run home and grab your kids, drive to your local Earth Fare Supermarket, spend the $5, and get food for everyone. You also have the option of either eating in the cafeteria at the supermarket or taking it back home to eat as a family meal. This is any mother’s dream! They get to spend quality time as a family, while supplying their children with the best dinner anyone could ask for.

As Brad, the Assistant Store Manager, stated in an interview, “we are trying to change the way kids eat.”

The children get to pick whatever they want to eat from the healthy and organic menu. Earth Fare makes this fun for them because they get to use a kiosk to type in their order. However, this does not mean kids have to give up their favorite foods. Earth Fare offers fresh organic pizza, sandwiches of all kinds, turkey provolone roll-ups, turkey bologna and cheese roll-ups, and much more. Additionally, they offer snacks, such as gluten free oatmeal snackimals, Earth Fare applesauce, and blueberry yogurt to name a few.

Travis, the Store Manager, continued by saying, “keeping the parents and the community educated about child obesity is very important during this day and age.”

This opportunity could help save many children from staying away from foods that are not good for their health. Keeping children in a healthy environment when they are young, where they grow up eating only organic and fresh foods will make them be more inclined to continue this pattern throughout their life. Hopefully, they will even continue this tradition when they have children of their own.

Through the social networks available today, it could only take one person to get the word out about what Earth Fare is doing for their family and more importantly, their community. Take advantage of this wonderful opportunity, and assist Earth Fare in any way possible to help in making a difference!
