The plains of Auburn are packed with thousands of RV's on home football weekends, and with the university raising the price of tailgating each year fans are left wondering about other options.

Auburn Legends Luxury RV Park is a new RV resort that just opened in Auburn and now has RV lots available for sale and rent. The park is located on Lee Road 51 right off of Highway 14.

Russ Hart, the developer of Auburn Legends, said that the resort is different from other RV parks around town through the extensive amenities available.

"The park offers a wide variety of amenities you can't find anywhere else in Auburn," Hart said. "Instead of paying $1500 a year for nothing but a piece of grass, why not invest in something and get your money's worth?"

Some of the amenities include a full size concrete pad for any RV or travel trailer, power and sewer, and security of being located in a gated community.

"Being in a gated community is great for owners. They don't have to worry about constant set-up and take-down if they want to go anywhere," said Hart.

The property also has a clubhouse, for all owners and guests, fully equipped with a laundry, showers, full size swimming pool and lounge area. TV's are hung in the lounge and around the pool for guest to be able to watch all the games and get to know other owners and guests.

Each lot also has the option of adding a customizable coach house only for the owners use.

"You can use the coach house for anything from storage to making it into a small guesthouse," said Hart.

The resort will also be offering transportation to all games for owners and guests.

"We will be having a shuttle similar to the Tiger Transit, taking owners and their guests to and from the stadium each game to eliminate the hassle of parking," said Hart.

Hart added that the prices now are as low as they're going to get.

"Buying now at the entry-level prices is the best idea if you are planning on investing," Hart said. "Prices for the lots are going to go up in value each year."
