Tailgates will continue and tan lines will return to the Plains this fall when country super star Luke Bryan comes to the Auburn Arena to perform his Tanlines and Tailgates concert series on November 18.

The November 18 concert will take place the Friday before the Auburn-Sanford game and will be an excellent place for students, residents and visitors to celebrate the night before the homecoming game. However, it will take a lot of preparation by Auburn Arena staff to prepare for the concert amidst the tailgating, fanfare, and festivity that comes along with an Auburn football game.

Auburn students are thrilled to have a multi-platinum  recording artist coming to their backyard.

“I think Luke Bryan coming to the Auburn Arena is such a great thing,”’ Morgan Seeley, an Auburn University Communication and Journalism student said.

“Luke Bryan is one of my favorite country artists,” Auburn Psychology student, Lauren Stalica said. “I think it’s really going to help the Auburn Arena in terms of getting more prominent acts in the future.

Bryan will come to Auburn as part of the 10^th annual CMT on Tour campaign that kicks off  in Huntington, W.V., Sept. 15. According to CMT.com, three-time ACM nominee Lee Brice, known for his debut album Love Like Crazy, and singer/songwriter Josh Thompson, known for his Top 10 Billboard hit “Won’t Be Lonely Long,” will be joining Bryan on the road this fall. CMT on Tour will hit 21 other cities and will wrap up after visiting Auburn on Nov. 19 in Monroe, La.
