Kappa Kappa Gamma will hold its 7th annual Chili Cook-off on March 27, 2010. The event will be held at the Ag Heritage Park, better known as the big red barn on Donahue drive, from 12pm to 3pm.
The Chili Cook-off is held to benefit the organization Reading is Fundamental (RIF). RIF provides books to children in their homes and schools who other wise may not have the opportunity to read.

This year’s chili cook-off will feature the Ryan Kinder Band. Tickets to enter the event are $12, which includes a t-shirt. This ticket allows you to try all the chili and enjoy the band.
To enter a pot of chili for judging with a team of up to four is $20. The chili will be judged by a selected panel in order to choose a first, second and third place winner. There is also a people choice winner; attendees of the event will be able to cast their vote for their favorite chili.
There will also be door prizes for attending guests and competing guests
“Our organization really looks forward to the chili cook-off each year, “Brittany Conyers, the Philanthropy Chairman for Kappa Kappa Gamma, says, “ We love being able to give back to such a great cause [RIF].
Entry forms to enter a pot of chili into the competition are due by March 23. Tickets are available for purchase from any member of Kappa Kappa Gamma and will also be on sale on the Auburn University concourse the week of the event.
