Workshop attendance last year was around 50, and UPC hopes to see the same number if not more this year.
"We did it last year and it was very popular so we decided to do it again this year," said Anne Smead, director of special projects for UPC.
The workshop is led by AU Rhythm dancers, a student organization formed in 2004 that performs at campus and community events.
"There will be a few people in the front teaching and the rest will be spread out between," said Smead.
The participants in the workshop learn an AU Rhythm performance first hand and dance with the group during the workshop.
The main instructors for the class will be in the front and the other members will be spread out to help all participants.
It will be held from 7 to 8 pm in rooms 2222 and 2223 of the Student Center. To sign up, contact UPC at 334-844-4788 or sign up in suite 3130 of the Student Center.
