Kiesel Park Hosts the Annual Auburn CityFest04.22.2009 – This Saturday, April 25, 2009 Kiesel Park in Auburn, Ala. will hold the annual Auburn CityFest. It will begin at 8 a.m. and end at 7 p.m. Kiesel Park is located off of Wire Road in Auburn. Directions are available on the Auburn CityFest website at www.auburncityfest.com. Everyone is encouraged to bring friends and family to the event.
The event is free and open for everyone within the community. Vendors and food may cost money, but there is no admission cost to get into Auburn CityFest. Kids of all ages are welcome.
On the website you will find the different vendors and activities that will be going on throughout the course of the day. This year there will be more than 125 arts and crafts exhibitors. This is the most that CityFest has had since 2001 when it first began.
Entertainment will be provided by the Ben Caver Band, Martha's Trouble and Todd Vickery. The performance schedule is also included on the website.
Other activities at CityFest will include, trout fishing, a medieval demonstration, the Mutt Strutt, an Artfest Tent and a Children's art exhibition. Each will take place at different times throughout the day. Specific schedules of the activities are located online.
