Ansley Black is a senior majoring in Public Relations at Auburn University. She is currently finishing her business courses and her core Public Relations classes before she takes Public Relations Campaigns and Style and Design in order to graduate. Black knew she wanted to be in Public Relations from a young age. She has always loved to be around people and loved writing.
When Black is asked what Public Relations means to her she comes up with several different answers. "Public Relations is making sure all the publics are informed and know what is going on," explains Black. "It will be my job as a PR practitioner to make sure the correct information gets out there."
After finishing classes in May, Black hopes to intern at Under Armor in order to graduate in August. She has sent her resume to Under Armor and hopes to receive an interview.
"I think it would be awesome to work at Under Armor because I love athletics," says Black. "It would be my dream to work as their PR practitioner and deal with media relations."
Black's favorite class right now is Case Studies of Public Relations. She feels it gives students good examples to work with and really understand how Public Relations works.
