Professional Pumpkin Carving

Last Friday, Auburn's School of Architecture hosted its 20th annual Pumpkin Carve in the courtyard of Dudley Hall.



An all day extravaganza, the school provide snacks and treats for attendees with fun events. Event stations included: pumpkin carving stations with help by architecture students, face painting, costume contests and the highlyrevered Pie-a-Professor, where many students waited their turn to pie the dean of the architecture school.

Football, Fans & Feathers

Fridays before the Auburn Tigers play home games, many fans are rushing around campus setting up tailgates. Others, however, are visiting the Southeastern Raptor Center off Shug Jordan Parkway.



"Football, Fans & Feathers" is an educational program that premiers Auburn's birds of prey, including the infamous gameday War Eagle's. Folks pile in the Edgar B. Block Party Stimulates Downtown Auburn

For the second successful week in a row, the Downtown Merchants Association entertained local citizens and game day visitors. With music playing from the stage in front of St. Dunstan’s chapel, to Miss Auburn University face painting and signing autographs for her young “fans,” the Block Party is a hit with everyone in attendance.

The Friendliest Village on The Plains

The infamous Hey Day is quickly approaching. Wednesday, Oct. 7, 2009, will be this years Hey Day for University students.



Hey Day isn't just a holiday or an anniversary, but it is something that has been celebrated for some time and always anticipated by students each year.



"Hey Day is a great Auburn tradition. The purpose is to promote the friendliness of Auburn's campus," said Nicole Thomason, SGA secretary of public relations.
