Mud, Music and Media: Auburn University Student Interns at Bonnaroo

In Manchester, Tenn., 700 acres of farmland houses thousands of campers, entertainers and vendors for four days every June. Patrons trade showers for baby wipes, beds for sleeping bags and sleep for their favorite artists’ last minutes on stage. At Bonnaroo, anything goes. And last summer, it was Liz Brittain’s job to make sure it stayed that way.

National Champions Host Fundraiser

Big House Foundation Hosts Big Swamp Blues

The Event Center Downtown in Opelika will be hosting the event “Big Swamp Blues” Wednesday, Sept. 21 from 7 p.m.-10p.m. The event will feature singer/songwriter Grayson Capps  and there will be a $10 admission charge. Light hors d’oeuvres will be served.

Four man rock, soul cover band

The Odettas have been performing in Auburn's music scene for more than a year now.

Luke Bryan to Perform at Auburn Arena

Tailgates will continue and tan lines will return to the Plains this fall when country super star Luke Bryan comes to the Auburn Arena to perform his Tanlines and Tailgates concert series on November 18.

On Sept. 11, 2001 our country experienced a terrifying act of terrorism. On that Tuesday morning, 19 al-Qaeda terrorists hijacked four passenger jets.

Auburn University Remembers 9/11 with Photos, Flags and Faith

Auburn, Ala., is 988 miles from New York City. It takes 16 hours and 33 minutes by car, not including bathroom breaks, and about $145 in gas to make the trip. On Sept. 11, 2001, the money, the time, and the distance didn’t matter. On that day, the entire nation was snapped out of its routine and planted on the corner of Liberty and Church streets, what is now Ground Zero.
