Want the Ulta-Mate selection in beauty products?

Ulta Beauty has just opened a store at Tigertown last Monday, April 13 feeling that a growing area such as Auburn-Opelika needed this kind of beauty store.Ulta is the largest beauty retailer in the United States that combines the best of three worlds - a salon, department store and drug store under one roof.Since Ulta is a chain beauty store, the Tigertown location is run by more than one manager. Profile Information

About Me:
Hey! My name is Evie Maddox and I am a senior at Auburn University majoring in Public Relations with a minor in Music. I am planning on graduating in August following my internship. I am hoping to intern in Nashville, Tenn. because it is a beautiful town and I believe there are alot of potential jobs for me there because I'd like to work in the country music industry.

I was born and raised in Auburn and there was just no doubt that I would go to Auburn. I have been in choirs for many years, including the Auburn University Concert Choir and the Auburn University Singers while I've been in college. Being involved in these choirs have been some of the best experiences I've had at Auburn. I've met some of my best friends and I've also gotten to travel to many places. Also, my freshman year I joined Sigma Alpha Iota, which is a professional music fraternity for women and I'm currently on the executive committee. I was also involved with the University Program Council for one year and am in the Student Alumni Association.

I currently work at one of the most popular college bookstores near campus, J & M Bookstore. It is the best job I have had since I've been in college. I get to work with my peers and also help others get what they need from textbooks, to clothes, to any other Auburn University memorabilia. I believe working at J & M has helped me tremendously with my communication skills since I have to deal with all types of customers on a daily basis. Also, since I have been working there for a year, I have more responsibility than other employees and I am expected to instruct them on the "ways of J & M" and to set a good example.

I think that being involved on campus as well as having a job, has helped me use more of the skills I have learned in my public relations classes, especially with raising awareness about events and the organizations, in general. I highly enjoyed being so involved with music while in college and I hope to continue being involved in music as I enter the next stage of my life and trying to find a job or career.

I believe that I have alot to offer. I am a very optimistic and enthusiastic person. I am also very organized and won't quit until I have something done.

I hope you have enjoyed reading a little about me! Thanks and War Eagle!

PR Intern Using Social Media Networks Everyday

As a PR student at Auburn University, we learn about different kinds of social media networks in the Style & Design in PR Messages class. Robert French, the instructor, emphasizes how important these networks are and encourages us to join a few of them while in his class.

Most students are already on Facebook and MySpace, not realizing that they are social media networks. But other websites such as The Loveliest Village and WarEagle.Me are more specifically targeted towards… Continue
